Xiaomi will unveil its own SoC soon

Xiaomi confirmed it is developing its own system-on-a-chip (SoC). The SoC will reportedly be named Pinecone and have eight Cortex-A53 cores. The company will introduce the SoC on February 28 at an event in Beijing.
