Datenna’s public, interactive radars were created to create greater transparency on Chinese economic activities and its corporate landscape in relation to the rest of the world.
China-EU FDI Radar
The China-EU FDI Radar is an on-going research initiative aimed at providing greater transparency on Chinese investments in Europe. It currently covers 750+ acquisitions from 2010 up to the present. The data is made available to the public in an interactive map, indicating the level of Chinese state-influence for every acquisition. This indication is provided based on analysis of the ultimate beneficial ownership (UBO) by Datenna.
EU-China Joint Venture Radar
The EU-China Joint Venture Radar is an on-going research initiative aimed at providing greater transparency on European investments into China. It currently covers all European joint ventures in China and added all European Wholly Foreign Owned Entities (WFOE) in China to the map. The data is made available to the public in an interactive map, providing detailed information on European investments into China.
China Defence Radar
Datenna’s China Defence Radar is a research initiative that provides greater clarity into the complex networks and often hidden connections between Chinese state-owned Defence Conglomerates and an entire network of subsidiaries, suppliers and personnel.
We track the ten military-industrial conglomerates that form the backbone of China’s national defence industry. The complete, traceable information we collate on this sprawling network of actors is essential for governments around the world seeking to prevent the unwanted supply of goods and technologies to defence-related entities in China.
